Description

The Basic Picture Book Illustration service fee is for a single page; 2-page spreads cost double. This service includes 1-2 characters on a simple background drawn in a simple style. This service is good for illustrations for very young children, such as those in board books. My process is as follows: 1) I will ask you for a description of the scene, as well as for visual references. If you want an entire book illustrated, then I will ask you for your manuscript, page-by-page illustration notes, and visual references. If you don't have ideas for every page, don't worry, I'll be able to help you. At this stage, I just want to see your vision :) 2) Once we finish the notes, I will proceed to the sketches. You will get 2 free revisions per illustration. 3) Once you approve the sketches, I will proceed to the final color drafts. The final drafts include one small color revision. 4) Once the illustrations, cover, and layout are complete, I'll deliver high res 300 dpi JPG and PDF files in CMYK format.
